Vacancy ; 37 fresh job openings announced by key state agencies and universities
The government has unveiled 37 job openings across various ministries and state departments, as advertised in the recent MyGov edition on Tuesday. These positions are distributed across key institutions such as Maseno University, South Eastern Kenya University, University of Nairobi Enterprises and Services (UNES) Limited, and the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council.
Maseno University has seven vacancies on offer. These positions include roles for a lecturer specializing in general/clinical/anatomic pathology, two tutorial fellows in human anatomy, a lecturer in entomology/critical care nursing, and a lecturer in entomology. Additionally, they are seeking a food and beverage manager as well as a front office manager. South Eastern Kenya University has advertised a total of ten vacancies. Among these, there are positions available for two lecturers (Grade 6A) in the School of Law, one lecturer (Grade 6A) in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and one lecturer (Grade 6A) in the School of Health Sciences. The School of Engineering is also looking to fill two lecturer positions (Grade 6A). In addition, there are roles for a Senior Assistant University Librarian (Grade 5), Senior Sports Officer (Grade 7), and Senior Legal Officer (Grade 7). The University of Nairobi Enterprises and Services (UNES) Limited is offering five positions, which include Assistant Internal Auditor, Part-Time Pediatric Dentist, Part-Time Pediatric Ophthalmologist, Optometrist, and Manager for Hospitality Services. Lastly, the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) has 11 vacancies. These include positions such as Director of Management Information System and Communications, Coordinator Regional Offices, Deputy Director of Communication, Technical Advisor, and Deputy Director of Administration. Additionally, they are hiring for Regional Offices Coordinator (3 posts), Senior Principal Corporate Communication Officer, Senior Programme Officer (3 posts), Senior Internal Auditor, Office Administrator, and Security Officer.
