Ruiru Pastor Peter K Arrested for Allegedly Sodomising TukTuk Driver
Pastor Peter K, leader of Christ Impact Church, has been arrested in Nairobi. He was wanted for allegedly sodomizing a TukTuk driver in 2022.
Nakuru East Police Commander Sheila Kegode confirmed the arrest. Peter K will remain in police custody while investigations continue. He will be charged after the investigations.
Two weeks ago, the preacher’s church was raided by the public due to sodomy accusations. He had been evading police in Nakuru for over two years.
The arrest followed renewed appeals from a victim’s family, leading to an arrest warrant. Peter K was arrested with an associate in Nairobi and then moved to Nakuru Police Station.
The victim claims the pastor enticed him with alcohol before sexually assaulting him.
At the time, the victim worked as a TukTuk driver in Nakuru. The pastor asked him to provide transport to an event and offered drinks.
The victim says Peter K persuaded him to be his driver for a church event and to enter his vehicle. The victim claims the assault occurred inside the car.
The car lacked rear seats. After drinking, the victim awoke with severe pain and realized he had been sodomized.
He reported the incident to Nakuru Central Police Station in May 2022. A medical report confirmed signs of anal trauma.
However, his attempts to get justice were delayed because police did not apprehend the fugitive.
On March 2nd, a large group of young people and residents stormed Peter K’s church in Ruiru. They accused him of sodomizing young boys.
Many people gathered outside Christ Impact Church, threatening to destroy it if the pastor didn’t appear.
Photos and videos show residents vandalizing the church. They expressed that they wanted the pastor to leave their community.
