Rev Lucy Natasha’s Modern Love Story: An Instagram DM That Changed Her Life
In an age where love stories blossom on social media, youthful preacher Rev. Lucy Natasha stands as a testament to the power of digital connections. Known for her flashiness and candid nature, Rev. Natasha recently shared how her journey to finding love unfolded on Instagram.
Rev. Natasha, who has built a reputation for her insightful perspectives on money, emphasizes that wealth takes on the character of its holder. “In the hands of a good person, it will be used for a good cause. Money is not evil; it is the love of money that is,” she asserts. Remarkably, she has never drawn a salary from her ministry, viewing her work as a collaborative mission dedicated to God’s purpose. Instead, her income streams from authoring 12 books and various business ventures over time.
Stressing the importance of diversifying income, Natasha draws inspiration from the biblical Garden of Eden, which had four rivers. “Everyone should strive to have at least four income streams,” she advises.
Social media played a pivotal role in her love life, as it was on Instagram that she met her husband, Prophet Carmel. “My husband slid into my DM,” she reveals. “I ghosted his messages for two years before finally responding. He is Indian and had not been to Kenya at that time. He used to hit on me with godly rhymes. But you know, persistence outweighs resistance.”
Natasha cherishes her husband for bringing out the best in her. “He taps into Tasha. He never called me Rev, Oracle, Pastor, or Prophetess,” she fondly shares. Two years into their marriage, they are hopeful and prayerful about having children. “We have the desire and the prayer; I think that would be one of the greatest blessings from God. We will wait on God.”
Offering advice to men, Natasha cautions against marrying gold diggers. “In this generation, many women aren’t looking for love but help. They don’t come for your heart but your hunt. Women should be gold carriers instead.” She elaborates, “A gold digger wants to know what car you drive; a gold carrier wants to know what drives you. A gold digger wants to know where you live; a gold carrier wants to know what lives in you.
