A leading local bank is auctioning a fleet of 51 vehicles, some with starting bids as low as Ksh 250,000, as outlined in a recent announcement in a national daily. Interested buyers are encouraged to submit their offers by November 18, 2024, giving them a limited window to secure these vehicles at remarkable prices.

The lineup includes a variety of popular brands such as Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu, Nissan, and Suzuki, along with high-capacity tractors for large-scale farming, priced between Ksh 1,000,000 and Ksh 1,200,000. Each vehicle is set to go to the highest bidder.

Other noteworthy deals include a 2008 Nissan Vanette SK82, priced at Ksh 300,000, typically used for transporting goods or even passengers, and a 2008 Toyota Mark X, available for Ksh 350,000, a fraction of its regular market value.

An attractive option for SUV enthusiasts is the Toyota Prado Land Cruiser V8, available at an asking price of Ksh 3.3 million, providing a rare chance to acquire this powerful model at a discounted price.

Heavy-duty commercial vehicles dominate the auction, with at least 11 lorries listed, their prices ranging from Ksh 1.35 million to Ksh 3.7 million. The highest-priced item is a 2021 Shacman Primemover, valued at Ksh 4 million, primarily designed for long-haul goods transportation, such as fuel tankers.

Vehicles on auction are stored across various locations, including Nairobi, Kisumu, Embu, Malindi, Kisii, Eldoret, and Nakuru, making it convenient for interested buyers from different regions. The auctioneers have emphasized that all sales will be on an “as is, where is” basis, with buyers purchasing the vehicles in their current condition.
