Kenyan singer Masauti is channeling his heartbreak into music after discovering that his girlfriend, Tina, was unfaithful. The revelation came during a viral TikTok challenge where a TikToker called Tina and asked her to name her boyfriend. Shockingly, she mentioned someone other than Masauti.
Following the incident, a remorseful Tina publicly apologized to the singer, stating, “I’m here to apologize to Masauti. I am very sorry about that. I was not aware of the interview; it caught me off guard. I am very sorry for real. I am feeling bad.”
While the betrayal was painful, Masauti is turning his pain into art. The singer expressed his gratitude to Tina for the heartbreak, as it inspired him to return to the studio.
“This has really been a tough one. I’ve been trying, but I still can’t find the right words to express myself and let the world know exactly what is happening and what I’m going through. The best I can do is through my music. Life’s no balance,” he shared.
Masauti is now working on a new song titled “Tina,” dedicated to his estranged lover and her new boyfriend, capturing the raw emotions of his experience.
