Man Arrested After Fatal Attack on Daughter Following Domestic Argument
Police in Adungosi, located in Teso South Constituency, Busia County, have detained a 30-year-old Ugandan herdsman accused of fatally attacking his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter in a horrifying act of violence.
The tragic incident reportedly unfolded after the man had a heated argument with his wife, who subsequently left their home.
Enraged by the dispute, the man allegedly turned his anger toward his young daughter, using a panga to deliver the fatal blow.
Shocked and outraged, local residents swiftly intervened and attempted to apprehend the suspect. However, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene in time, rescuing him from the irate crowd before placing him under arrest.
The suspect now faces legal proceedings as the case continues.
The young girl’s body has been transferred to the Alupe Hospital morgue as authorities continue their investigation into this tragic incident.
