Having a Crush on Him? What Ladies Should Never Do
Having a crush is a bizarre experience that gives you butterflies and is both exciting and terrifying.
When we have a crush, many of us act irrationally or inappropriately without even realizing it.
Some of these factors may jeopardize the outcome of the relationship. Here are some of the worst things you should never do if you have a crush on someone.
1.Stalking
We all enjoy a good social media stalk now and then, but there’s a distinction to be made between lurking on his Instagram or Facebook and stalking him in person.
In addition to being illegal, stalking a guy sends out clingy and needy vibes, which you definitely don’t want to send out.
2.Make disparaging remarks about his girlfriends or ex-girlfriends
It’s never acceptable to criticize another woman, whether she’s his current or former flame.
Even if he harbors resentment toward her, it reflects poorly on you and your sense of integrity. Don’t blame her if he’s currently dating someone! It’s not her fault; she just likes the same men.
Even if he flirts with you and sends mixed signals while you’re in a relationship, it’s not her fault — it’s his! So don’t be surprised if she feels rejected.
3. Hypersexualize
Women, like men, do not appreciate being ogled and having their bodies discussed as if they were objects.
If you go on and on about his abs, booty, and all the naughty things you want to do to him in public, he’ll feel awkward and uncomfortable. Sure, you can talk about it with your friends, but keep it quiet to avoid starting rumors or having someone post it online.
4.Being overly stubborn following rejection
Accept his rejection graciously and move on to the next person who appreciates you for who you are.
If you keep asking him out, it’s not only rude, but also pushy and sometimes creepy. Instead of harassing a guy who has stated his feelings, find someone else! There are a lot of fish in the sea.
5. Center your entire life on him
In a relationship, having your own life and interests is essential. If you act as if the world revolves around your crush, your entire world may come crashing down the moment something goes wrong.
No matter how great he is, he isn’t worth wasting your time on. More importantly, studying, participating in your favorite sport, or focusing on your own interests will make you more appealing to potential suitors.
6.Consider him to be too good for you
Low self-esteem is unpleasant, but it affects even the most successful people. Rather than criticizing yourself, remind yourself of all the wonderful qualities you possess.
When it comes to attracting guys or girls, confidence is everything. If he does turn you down, instead of making a list of all the reasons he might not like you, make a list of the reasons he’s ridiculous for turning down a babe like you.
7.Try to make him envious
This is just one example of playing games, and we strongly advise against it when it comes to potential romantic partners. It’s deceptive and childish.
Don’t bring up other guys in front of the one you’re interested in, and don’t try to flirt or hook up with others at parties to make him jealous. Instead, take the mature approach and pursue one guy at a time.
8. Avoid over-texting and being awkward in person
It’s a lot easier to speak your mind and be brave with that swoon-worthy guy when you’re hiding behind a screen.
However, avoiding him in face-to-face situations, even if it’s just because you’re anxious or nervous, may send the wrong signals. He may even believe you’re embarrassed to be seen with him.
Instead, keep your cool and simply smile or use another form of body language to show interest.
9. Act as if you are someone else
Being yourself is the most important factor in attracting the attention of a crush.
After all, you want them to like you for who you are, not who you are trying to be or who you believe he wants you to be. If he truly likes you, it’s fated to be! Being yourself and owning who you are is also extremely appealing to men.
