Esther Passaris Surgery and Health Challenges
Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Muthoni Passaris has revealed she recently underwent surgery. Passaris disclosed this in response to a Twitter user inquiring about her well-being.
She mentioned feeling exhausted as she had surgery two weeks ago and was advised to take a three-week bed rest, advice she did not follow. “I’m feeling exhausted. It has been two weeks since my surgery.
I was supposed to follow the doctor’s advice to take a three-week bed rest, but duty called, and I am passionate about serving. I am doing everything I can, and I know God loves me for who I am and what I do. I am a woman following God’s own heart,” Passaris responded.
Addressing her critics, the ODM politician expressed empathy, saying, “Everything else is meaningless; I can only pray for those who hate because they do not know better. They are filled with judgment and see themselves as holier than your perspective. I send them love and peace because they do not know better. Thank you for asking. We will talk tomorrow. Good night, good people.”
Passaris’s recent surgery adds to her history of medical procedures. In January 2020, she underwent spinal surgery in India and had another surgery in September 2019 in Nairobi due to a back problem. She has been dealing with back issues for nearly two decades and has consulted with more than ten doctors.
