Dp Gachagua Employee Attempted Assasination
In a shocking revelation, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has disclosed that an assassination attempt was made on one of his employees.
During a Sunday night interview with vernacular stations in the Mt. Kenya region, Gachagua detailed how a solo gunman on a motorbike targeted his staff member, a former National Intelligence Service (NIS) officer, who now aids in the fight against illicit brews.
The DP recounted that the gunman aimed for the head but missed, hitting the victim’s shoulder instead.
The injured staffer was subsequently treated at a Nairobi hospital. Gachagua revealed that President William Ruto was unaware of the incident until he personally informed him, and lamented that the perpetrators remain at large despite the case being reported.
Gachagua also touched on recent political tensions, particularly with leaders from Northern Kenya, and reiterated his commitment to supporting President Ruto’s administration amidst calls for his resignation.
