Check out These Early Signs if You Suspect You Are Pregnant
Bringing a child into the world can be a dream come true for some women and a nightmare for others. While taking a pregnancy test or seeing your doctor is the only way to know for sure if you are in the early stages of pregnancy, there are some symptoms that can help you recognize that it is a possibility. Check out These Early Signs if You Suspect You Are Pregnant..
1. Not getting your period
Of course, this is the first and most obvious sign that many women experience and mistake for pregnancy. Of course, if your eating habits are poor or you’re under a lot of stress, that could be the cause, but it’s still a possibility.
2. Cramping or spotting
Even if you’re bleeding, it’s possible that you’re pregnant and it’s not your period. These two symptoms are caused by a fertilized egg adhering to the uterine wall.
This is referred to as implantation bleeding, and it can last for a week or two after fertilization. Some women mistake these cramps for menstrual cramps.
3. Frequent urination
This is common in the sixth or eighth week of pregnancy, and while it is a common symptom, it is important to note that it could also be caused by a urinary tract infection or diabetes.
4. Strange cravings
Do you want to know what pickle juice and ice cream taste like? If you’re having a craving you’ve never had before, it could be a sign that you’re expecting a child. The same goes for foods that you used to tolerate but no longer do.
5. Breast tenderness
Because your hormone levels are changing, you may experience soreness, swelling, and tingling for several weeks. They may also feel fuller or more tender to touch, and the areola (the dark area around the nipple) may darken.
6. Nausea
The nausea that is commonly associated with pregnancy is the polar opposite of cravings. While not every pregnant woman experiences this, hormones are a major cause, and they are especially unpleasant in the morning. Several cups of hot tea can help!
7. Constipation
When you’re pregnant, the hormone progesterone rises, which can cause constipation.
Consume high fiber foods, drink plenty of water, and exercise to speed up the passage of food through your intestines.
8. Backache and headaches
Although there are numerous causes for this sensation, many pregnant women report mild headaches, while others experience back aches.
9. Nasal stuffiness
You may experience nasal stuffiness due to increased blood production and rising hormone levels, and it is not due to seasonal allergies!
On the milder side, these factors can cause your nose to dry out, swell, bleed easily, or cause a runny/stuffy nose.
10. Feeling Fatigue
While many of us have valid reasons to be tired, if you find yourself feeling unusually exhausted, consider the possibility that you are pregnant. This is because progesterone levels have risen, causing sleepiness.
11 Mood swings
It’s normal to feel teary and emotional during the early stages of pregnancy — and for the entire 9 months.
It’s also common to have mood swings — one minute you’re jumping around with joy, the next you’re furious at whoever happens to be by your side.
12. Bloating
This is perplexing because we experience it during our periods, but bloating is common between weeks 4 and 6 of pregnancy.
13. Increased body temperature
A higher basal body temperature is a common sign of pregnancy. Your core temperature can rise even higher after periods of exercise or hot weather, so stay hydrated!
14 Rapid heartbeat
This usually doesn’t happen until about 2 months into a pregnancy. Your heart begins to beat faster and harder, and palpitations are common. All of this is due to hormones; later in the pregnancy, increased blood flow to the fetus can also cause this.
15. In addition to the dreaded cravings and bouts of nausea, hormones can excessively relax the valve between the esophagus and the stomach, causing stomach acid to leak and heartburn. After eating, chew on some Tums and sit up straight.
15. Acne
Although some pregnant women have an undeniable glow around their due date. The glow is caused by your body’s oil glands working overtime. Some women, however, develop acne instead, which is nothing to be ashamed of.
