Body of A Woman missing With several organs Discovered Murders in Nairobi
Nairobi residents are in shock as the body of yet another woman was found early this morning, brutally dismembered and left outside apartments along Naivasha Road.
The incident comes only days after the chilling murders of a woman, her daughter, and her niece in Eastleigh, sparking fear and anger among Nairobi’s residents.
The grisly discovery was made by a tenant leaving her apartment. “We heard shouts early in the morning. When we went to look, we found the woman’s body dumped here,” Dennis Nyakwae, a resident, recounted.
The body appeared to be missing several organs, including her heart, intestines, and private parts, suggesting a possible ritualistic or symbolic intent.
Nancy Kemunto, the apartment’s security guard, explained that there was no blood at the scene, leading authorities to suspect that the woman was murdered elsewhere and her body dumped by unknown individuals. “We found her dumped here with no blood around, so it’s clear she was killed somewhere else,” Kemunto stated.
This recent incident marks the seventh murder involving a female victim within a week across the country, leaving communities alarmed and seeking protection for women.
Earlier, in Eastleigh, police uncovered a case involving a mother, her daughter, and her niece, who were allegedly killed by people known to them in what appears to have been a ransom scheme gone wrong.
The body of Seth Nyakio Njeri, the daughter of a Kirinyaga MCA and a Zetech University graduate, was discovered on October 20 in Thika County under similarly suspicious circumstances.
Nyakio had left her family home in high spirits the day before, unaware of the tragedy that awaited her.
Following this series of horrific deaths, the Director of Criminal Investigations has been called to act swiftly.
FIDA chairperson Christine Kungu urged Inspector General Douglas Kanja to publicly reassure women and girls of their safety amid a rising wave of gender-targeted violence. “We demand action from our leaders to ensure that such heinous acts do not go unchecked,” she said.
